The static wind load coefficients + DAFs (Dynamic Amplification Factors) used to calculate the underlying loads in ITRAX structural designs are based on wind tunnel testing results provided by the I.F.I. Institut für Industrieaerodynamik (Germany) whilst aeroelastic instability screening is performed by CPP Wind Engineering & Air Quality Consultants (USA).
The ITRAX has up to 55% less posts than some competitors which significantly reduces installation cost & risk in the hard rock ground conditions typical to South African projects.
